Basic school

The topic of the master’s thesis is the design basic school for the first and second stage, which is located in the part of Pardubice named Pardubičky. It is a four-storey building, where you will find a total of 18 ordinary classrooms and other specialized classrooms (for example computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab). The building is designed for 540 students. The building is built of brick Heluz system, the roof is flat. Each floor is hygienic facilities for both boys, girls, and for teachers and for persons with reduced mobility. In the ground floor are locker rooms, classrooms and sanitary facilities. In second floor are classrooms, facilities for teachers and cabinets. In the third floor are ordinary and specialized classrooms and fourth floor is engine room for air conditioning, and classrooms. Entry to the building is wheelchair accessible, the building has elevators.
Economic Evaluation of Public Investment Projects

The thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency that benefits the public investment project. The aim of this study is to compare the estimated project costs with the costs actually incurred. The theoretical part describes the theme of public sector cost-output methods, and in detail analyzes the cost-benefit analysis. Furthermore, this section deals with regional policy and subsidy resources used to finance public projects. The practical part describes the project funded by funding from the European Union, which compares the value of all expected costs needed for an application for a grant with the real values of costs after project implementation.
School, the Foundation of Life – a Complex of Educational Buildings in Ostrava, Cerna louka

The project concerns itself with a current issue concerning the use of the social space, Černa louka, situated a short distance from the centre of Ostrava. This project adds new facilities - educational, sports, gastronomical, and scientific - to the original competion proposal. What is more, this brings new input to the area responding to the needs of local inhabitants. The complex of educational buildings is designed as a new principle of vertical compact form.
Parental considerations and decision-making in the area of postponement of school attendance

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of postponement of school attendance from the perspective of parents. The thesis is divided into three parts - theoretical, methodological and analytical. The theoretical part defines the kindergarten as the first facility that the child and his parents meet. It shows additional activities - speech therapy care, stimulation program, psychological and pedagogical diagnostics. It defines terms such as school readiness, school maturity and delay in school attendance. The last chapter frames the kindergarten from the point of view of the overall system of education in the Czech Republic. In the methodological part, the goal of the research, the research questions are presented. How the data will be interpreted. To obtain them, a semi-structured interview was used with eight parents who either decided to delay school attendance or their child properly entered the first grade. The data is then interpreted in the analytical part. The data is divided into two groups and then compared. Knowledge of Idioms in Basic School Pupils

This thesis focuses on phraseology and its integration into the teaching of Czech language and literature in primary school. The aim is to present a detailed analysis of a research investigation focused on the knowledge of idioms among pupils of a selected primary school. In the theoretical part of the thesis, firstly, important concepts in the field of phraseology are defined - definition, characteristics and functions of idioms, their updating. Subsequently, it is observed how the phraseology curriculum is integrated into the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education and the School Educational Programme of the selected primary school. Furthermore, a detailed analysis of the phraseology curriculum in selected textbooks of Czech language and literature for primary schools is presented. This thesis presents previous research on the knowledge and understanding of phraseology and presents their results. The practical part of the thesis deals with a research investigation in which pupils of the second stage of the selected primary school and pupils of the fourth and fifth grades of the first stage of the same school took part. The Use Of Songs As A Didactic Tool In History Lessons

The use of music in the teaching of history brings new possibilities of working with a significant group of musical historical sources as well as modern song interpretations of historical events. This diploma thesis describes the using of songs as a didactic tool and summarizes appropriate ways and methods. Methodologically, the work is based on research using comparison, linguistic analysis and statistics. The thesis aims to summarize the possibilities of using songs in the teaching of history; how to choose appropriate songs and outline examples of what lessons look like using music. Other goals are to outline the possibilities of higher teaching efficiency using modern approaches and to open Czech history teaching to new methods and the overall use of music in history teaching, which are already used abroad. The result of the thesis is the finding that songs clearly contribute to the effectiveness of the teacher's efforts by making them more fun for the students. The fun of the lesson is connected, among other things, to the effectiveness of the teaching, and the teacher's goal is to make the teaching as effective as possible. The content of this Diploma Thesis is represented by the view and opinions of children on the problems of the bullying behaviour. The thesis includes both theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the thesis explains some scientific concepts related to bullying, it presents the forms and views on bullying, it adverts to the direct and indirect signs, that can help the family or the school reveal the fact of existing chicane. The work also deals with the causes of bullying behaviour, and tries to find out how school can prevent and possibly resolve bullying. In this thesis, we can find the particular stages of bullying, the most frequent locations where bullying takes place, the risks and consequences that all come with bullying as well. The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the role of special education teacher at elementary school in the present condition. It's concerned especially with the position at school, with the activities and methods of the work and with the professional relationships. The theoretical part focuses on the development of the special education and mainly on the contemporaray special arrangements. This master thesis describes the groups of pupils who need the arrangement from the school and other school institutions. The text shows the charakteristics of individual eduactional plans and of school consultancy services, including the special education teacher and the particular aspects of this profession, based on scientific literature. The empirical part is based on the mixed research. It schows the examples of the practice, the issue is the analysis of five interviews with special education teachers from the basic schools. Use of Primate Expositions in Education at Elementary School

This thesis proposes a possibility of using the exposition of primates in the Prague zoo during the school excursion for pupils of the 7th or 8th grade of elementary school. The thesis is divided into individual parts that theoretically analyse the importance of excursions for education and subsequently it is practically focused on facilitating the smooth course of the excursion and other activities that precede the excursion or follow it freely. In the thesis there is the general sorting of primates into individual species described in detail and there is provided basic information about primates that are bred in the Prague zoo. Further, possible excursion trail including individual expositions where the particular animals can be seen is described in detail. The main objective was to provide teachers with detailed instructions on how to make the excursion so it is successful. The purpose of the work was also to create materials which help to actively memorize the information provided and to raise children's interest in such an interesting animal species as the primates.
